DID YOU KNOW.....

Did you know that Mill Creek Elementary PTA appropriated over $20,000 to the school in 2010-2011?  This was done with the support of our business sponsors, parents and families, and fund raising events . 

In addition, the PTA gave over $6,000 in teacher grants to  teachers at Mill Creek Elementary School in 2010-2011.

The 2010-2011 PTA Appropriations

Spanish- $1,500.00 (includes 2 iPads for student use, DVD player for educational DVDs & VGA to project iPad via LCD projector, & other peripherals)

Computer Lab- $1,500.00 (36 earphones and camcorder)

Media Room- $3,500 (AR subscription whole school)

VPK- $200.00 (8 cushions @ $25 each)

Physical Education- $2,100.00 (range of equipment)

Guidance- $700.00 (learning celebrations & other projects)

ESE Response to Intervention- $200.00

Science Lab- $4,000.00 (to outfit lab with new equipment, experiment basics, new microscope and ceiling mounted projector)

Science Textbooks- $2,500.00

Write Score- $858.00

Music- $2,000.00 (drop-ceiling screen, ceiling mounted projector & installation)

Mobis (4) for all 5^th Grade Classes- $1,320.00 (an additional 4 mobis so all 5^th grade classes will have a mobi)

Art- $500.00 (metal tooling & embossing)
