Attention Volunteers!

Don’t have a lot of time, but want to volunteer! Look no further, Mill Creek Elementary has a wonderful program just for you! Join Meet the Artist! Meet the Artist is designed to introduce and expose our children to art and art appreciation.

Each month a print of a famous artist is placed in the classroom for the students to observe and learn about. As a Meet the Artist volunteer, you job is to do a short presentation about the artist and their painting. That’s all there is to it!

All the information you need to know about the artist and their painting are provided to you by the PTA. Many volunteers find this to be a great way to interact with the class and learn a little about art themselves. You don’t have to be an expert! This position can also be shared with another volunteer, making it easy to fit your personal schedule and availability.

This program will begin in September. If you are interested, please send us an email or download a form and return to your child’s teacher.
